Critical Review of LinkedIn
LinkedIn is an online profile that allows you to build connections to help you be more productive. You have an online profile that shows your experience, educations and recommendations. LinkedIn allows you to contact people in the field that you need threw connections that you have. For example you are looking for an investor to invest in your Architecture Company but you don’t know anyone. LinkedIn will show any connections that your friends have to investors that might invest in your company. LinkedIn makes the connections that are possible visible for you to take advantage of.
To start using LinkedIn you find people that you know like colleagues, clients, co-workers and classmates. LinkedIn can be used to avoid using the yellow pages and it will make it so that you are getting a person that your people know so you have a better chance of getting a person who is good at their job. LinkedIn is not good for thing such as entertainment, news or other recreational uses. One problem with Linked in is that in most cases it is hard to know who to accept. If you do not know the person it is most of the time to not accept it because of the fact that they will gain info about you and be able to contact your contacts and say that you told them to go to them. LinkedIn also allows you to keep in contact with your contacts even when they switch their email or job.
LinkedIn a great free tool at you disposal that shows you resume to people who might be interested in your profile. It also allows you to control what people can see on Google. It helps you put your resume on top so people can see what you want them to see.
LinkedIn is a very valuable tool that anyone can and should take advantage of.
